A pair of star motif earrings from the first design period of William Spratling c.1931-1946. These lightweight, high impact earrings are crafted in the traditional hollow work method using the original estrella mold. Solid sterling sheet is hammered into the troquele, then cut and soldered to sheet sterling - creating high relief while maintaining lightweight ease of wear.
